BRISBANE CREATIVE CITY STRATEGY
Client: Brisbane City Council, QLD
Brecknock Consulting, in association with Charles Landry from COMEDIA, UK and Lyndon Terracini was engaged to develop a Creative City Policy for metropolitan Brisbane. The project involved a detailed review of Council’s cultural activity over the previous ten years, extensive internal and external consultation including stakeholder Focus Groups.
The final policy framework provided a whole of Council approach to the delivery of cultural services through interdepartmental partnerships and was based on four Outcome Areas: 1 Brisbane’s People; 2 The Brisbane Experience; 3 Brisbane Style; and 4 The Brisbane Way.
